Craig started square dancing in 1962 and began his square dance calling career in 1969.
I had no intention of being a square dance caller as a shy and bashful kid but, at a dance when callers used 45 rpm records, the record was skipping on the callers turntable. He was not happy and threw it out on the floor like a frespy and it landed at my feet. I took it home and it did not skip on my Parents stereo. My first singing call on Grenn, Kingston Town. I was 14.
Following his retirement from the US Postal Service in the fall of 2002, Craig expanded his 54-year calling career by developing a full-time calling program.
